Demian wins split decision - Dana promises title..

Titleshot - ringside... But the egg is a massive liar so we'll see what happens

so basically he is 3 wins away from title shot per Dana logic.

He has earned it boys.

Eh. Kind of weird to give a guaranteed title shot off of someone's least impressive performance in the last 5 years.

he's won 7 in a row dude. How many more wins you think someone needs for a title shot.

He's won 7 in a row. He took Masvidal down and took his back every round.

took his back every round.

took little damage. was never hurt.

Masvadial looked like a fool getting up each round after being in a dominated position and acting like he won. LOL.

7 in a row is better than 99% of people who get a title shot.

Yeah, Dana promised Maia he's "in the mix".

doerksenfan - Yeah, Dana promised Maia he's "in the mix".

LOL, we all know Dana, he has his shot when the UFC has signed that contract.

In EA UFC you need like 20 straight wins to get your first title shot. Maybe they are emulating that.

20 straight wins if you don't cut a WWE promo or have a gimick
3 straight wins and anywhere in the top 15 if you do

Damn I feel like no one is even gonna do as good as masvidal did. Can't wait to see what he can do with woodley. I feel like the same thing and if woodley gasses while Maia is on his back it'll be over for sure.

masvidal is gonna give us some really good fights against whoever his future opponents are. He might even get back to the title shot and win it even, even though he lost he's so incredibly talented and even showed us more in that fight. Those kicks are nasty. Can't wait to see more from both guys and hopefully see a part two soon.

Jihad To Steal My Goat Huh - That was a boring fight but it's not Maia's fault that his opponent sucked on the ground and couldn't do shit.

Yeah you definitely suck on the ground when you shut down Maia's RNC.

Maia held on for dear life for half of the fight, and got beat up for the other half.

You might have sold me a Woodley v Maia fight pre-Masvidal, but not after. I'm not paying $60 to witness that beating.

Declared winner with 3 significant strikes landed the whole fight.

Lol did you watch Woodley's last fight?

Yeah that's too bad Maia ruined that for you lmao...

If you are Faber then you'll get one every other fight.

Before the fight didn't he promise it to the winner?

Maia is the last of the Mohicans.

he has more than earned his title shot. Even before this fight. He is that generation of bjj's last hope. He's a true martial artist and a dying breed.

Show some respect because you will be sad when a guy so dominant hangs it up because there is no one to fill his shoes.

Took little damage? Never hurt? What fight were you watching? Maia did the wobbly legs walk back to his corner one of those rounds, he was absolutely rocked
