I'm surprised no one has talked about this, every time nate gets the Microphone he always asks for Dana and the UFC to bring nate back and once he actually says i wish They would give nick more respect....I am surprised dana has not said anything to Nick about this...and props to Nate for having the balls to stick up for his older bro Vs teh Big machine.
I believe the time you are referring to about "respect" was after Nate's TUF5 finale win and he was talking about the state of Nevada and when out of his way to say it wasn't the UFC, if I remember correctly.

I think that is very respectful how he comments on his brother. I don't know if anyone remembers this, but remember right before he fought in the TUF Finale they were doing he little monologue and he mentioned that people are always saying to him that he is walking in the shadow of Nick Diaz and he said something to the effect of "What's so bad about being in the shadow or Nick Diaz?..." Then he went on to bash Karo, but still he respects his brother a lot and he doesn't have that chip on his shoulder that he has to outshine his brother... very rare. Definitely gives me more respect for the guy.
Diaz brothers are the realest guys in the sport they dont try to play the role of the family man, the nice guy, or the badass. They do what they want in whatever situation they are presented. Oh and Nate shocked me, I was pulling for him but I thought Junior was the favorite going into the fight.
