I'm assuming its for the welterweight strap. Gotta go with Nick on this one.

wonder if itll be at a catch weight.

Nope. Welterweight strap.

It would be retarded for Strikeforce to promote a fight with one of its titleholders and not make it for the title. If its below 170 and KJ wins then the belt is more of a joke then it is currently.

Somewhere between 162-166 If they CW.. Who knows, I'll take Diaz in this one Phone Post

Why is it a joke? Phone Post

Diaz is a legit champ to have one of your titles and could beat anybody at 170 on the right night.

However SF has an incredibly shallow welterweight pool. Nick needs deeper waters to swim in hence his two fights at 180.

Agreed, I was thinking about 170lbers in SF and couldn't think of Any, their middleweight division is nasty though, with shields gone Nick should make a run there also Phone Post

Agreed, but the impression I get is Diaz won't move up unless he is fighting a good name. Namely he wants either Cung Le (asked for multiple times. Awesome matchup) or Henderson (who seems is staying at 205). No point in moving up unless he its for a big fight I guess. Makes sense though.

 DIAZ TAKES THIS ONE

Maybe Lawler/Diaz 2?? Phone Post

Taking Noons even though moving up in weight will likely not favor him.

I agree that SF is very shallow at WW and Heiron (who Diaz didn't want to fight) is gone.
There seems to be plenty of guys that Diaz doesn't want at a higher weight class, Mayhem for starters.

Yeah I understand that though. Beating Mayhem does nothing for Nick's career, so why even risk the fight and moving up in weight? Better to move up when the win will help advance his career.

I imagine it will look something like this:

LOL @ Nick buttscooting.

Diaz will win this time.
