Hell Yea he did!
Watched it three times and saw no tap.
He was about to lose, then he goes on to win. It was very unfair.
I agree with Bas's statement, at the point that both fighters were touched by the ref the fight should have been over. I base my opinion on two things that happened very quickly. First, Aaron screamed in pain, the ref heard it at almost the same instant he (secondly) saw Aaron smack Alex's leg with what appeared to be a tap. What was he supposed to think? It seems logical to me that the ref's reaction was one of concern for Aaron's safety when he grabbed both fighters, Obviously alex interpreted the ref's action as a stoppage as he immediately let go.
I don't think he had tapped yet but was going to. The fight definitely should have been over when the referee first called it.
no he didn't tap...he put his hand there to relieve pressure. Tapping is up and down..not putting your hand somewhere and leaving it there.
He didn't tap... but he came dang close. Close enough for the ref to see his hand hit once and go to break it up. Then when he realized he wasn't actually tapping and had only hit once, he pulled his hands back. You can actually see the ref pull his hands off in an "I didn't touch shit!" manner.
Yup....the ref deffinately dropped the ball on that one.....if he wouldn't have stepped in, there would not have been any confusion.....Stark would have tapped several times from pain, or he wouldn't. It was the ref's fault that said action was interpreted as a tap.
Tap
no tap... he winces and slaps his leg but doesn't tap. I it was his instinct to start taping with that sort of pain but he caught himself.
IMO for it to be a tap it needs 2 or 3 taps at least.
he didn't tap, but he would have. notice the ref stopped it and alex lost position. if the ref hadn't of fucked up, stark would've tapped. i'm sure.
YES!
He did not tap, he was trying to push down on Alex's leg. But he did yell out and the ref did stop the hold. At that point Alex should have won the fight. The ref had no business stepping in until there was a clear verbal submission or a repeated tap, not one, repeated. Bad reffing.
no tap
i don't think he tapped, but Alex had perfectly good reason to believe that the ref had stopped the fight due to the submission that he was applying. i doubt Stark would have escaped without the ref's intervention.
fucking right he did
no tap
no tap but should have been ref stoppage at that point. if the ref stops it right or wrong the fight is over.
I agree.
