Did any of you actually attend a Pride show?

There has to be someone on here that has, so...

What was the energy/atmosphere like?

Which show(s) do you attend?

Best fights on the card(s)?

Meet any fighters?

Friendly crowd?

How off the scale was the production?

How did it compare to a UFC/American based card?

The production values were amazing and the crowd was so silent and respectful. It was a moving experience.

I went to the Vegas event and it was amazing! I met so many fighters at Pure night club that I couldn't even write them all out but I hung out with Pat Militich and some others from his camp, met Wandy too. Fedor beat the hammer. The production was awesome but I have been to UFC's that were awesome too. Phone Post 3.0

I attended a show in Vegas.  The Wand/Hendo one.  33 I think.  Ice prob been to 30 UFCs and that was my favorite event ever.

I went to the OWGP Finals in 2006.

It was an unreal experience, as a live event it was a lot better than UFC, but UFC is still an excellent live experience.

He never got enough credit. Loved watching Joachim.

I went to the first one in vegas. 32 i think. It was awesome but obviously not exactly the same as a Japan show.

I got to see robbie, baroni, barnett, butterbean, shogun, hendo, vitor, shogun, randleman, fedor, coleman fight which is awesome Phone Post 3.0

I went to Dream 5 which is close enough I guess. It was fantastic. Phone Post 3.0

A lot of OGers go to their parades.

A buddy of mine (policemen from Charlotte) was with Ricksons crew when he fought in Pride 4.

Rickson and Royce used to do a bunch of police ground fighting seminars and somehow my buddy Irwin became close with Rickson.

It's been so long that I really don't remember any details other then him saying at some point he met Mark Keer and remembered how big and nice he was. If you met him on the street, you would never guess he was a fighter

I could have cornered our fighter but Pride paid for two corners to fly out. I was poor at the time and couldn't afford to go as his third. :-(

was always on my mma bucket list Phone Post 3.0
