Did bisbing look really slow to anyone else?

Yeah he destroyed miller as I thought he would but did anyone else think his punches in particular look slow as hell? A lot slower than usually? If he fights like that against anderson he will be destroyed. Phone Post

You aren't the first person I've heard say that Bisping looked slow. I don't see that though. In my mind, his punched looked great. A lot of quick, crisp, straight punches. But maybe it just appeared that way to me, in comparison to Mayhem's slow looping punches.

Yeah man the fight looked novice, shut it off after the second Phone Post

Haha ok Phone Post

If he destroyed Bisping when he looked slow, imagine if he'd been at his best... shivers Phone Post

Mayhem* Phone Post

He looked no slower than usual.

yea bisping looked bad too.. he was sucking wind and looked a bit sloppy as well. This only makes Mayhem's loss even worse. how the hell did the new guys at the bottom of the ufc totem pole put on better performances than Mayhem?

How did he not prepare himself for a 5 round fight?

He definitely seemed to get tired pretty quickly. Even after the first round his hands were on his hips and he was breathing heavy.

It wouldn't shock me if he over-trained for this fight since he was off for so long and the heat with Miller.

Its probably because of the rediculously fast fighters we saw before him Phone Post

He only looked fast with amazing stand-up to the blindly-devoted British fans who like him. Realistic fight fans saw what you saw. And hell yes, he would get embarrassed against Silva much faster than he did against Hendo.

This.

Sends a shiver down the spine.

I think Bisping pu a lot of pressure on himself to perform because of forums and other stuff that he reads in the media. I think both fighters had a lot of pressure coming into this, Mayhem and Bisping both talked a lot of smack and it was all out there for everyone to see, so i'd say they both felt the need to put on a performance. I don't know if Bisping had a hard weight cut but that could be a factor.
To me it looked like due to the massive amounts of pressure on both fighters, they both had a huge "adrenaline dump" and by the end of round one both looked to be blowing hard. Bisping managed to recover and Mayhem didn't and that was the end of that.

Imagine if the UFC gives bisping an active top fiver! Bisping would be on free cards for life Phone Post

Bisping looked the worst i've seen him look since the hendo loss. Honestly its scarey how even exhausted he finished mayhem.

they both looked slow...  but we were watching an entire night of 135 and 145lbers so relatively and in our perception they looked slower than they would normally.

he got tired straight away , I think he had a tough camp and a tough cut , he wasn't at his best , he was doubled over with hands on hips at the end of round 1 Phone Post

superCalo - Have never seen bisping tired like this in any fight before this, falling on the matt after the end of the fight, what happened to his cardio which used to be top five in the uFc, I think it may be the laidback US lifestyle, he's got a bit lazy perhaps, but no doubt this is a wake up call to him to get in better shape and train harder. <img src="/images/phone/droid.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/>

Probably due to the long lay off and the inability to really train hard when you're in Vegas coaching. Mike is an active fighter that usually is in the gym straight after his last fight.

First round Bisping looked slow, but he came alive in the second and third and looked more like his normal self. Phone Post

I wouldn't say he looked slow, but he gassed harder than i've seen him gas in any fight before.
