Cro Cop did have Fedor in trouble a few times in the first round, especially the straight left, Fedor took a decision that should have been pretty easy for any judge, but Cro didnt get owned. I dunno what the people on here are talking about changing cro cops game and getting him to back up he is always moving like that looking to create space for the high left kick.
First Round was competitive, but the Body Shots Fedor was landing and the Pace he pushed the Fight from the first Bell took their Toll in the 2nd and 3rd Round.
Plus the upgrade he downloaded via Satellite in between the 1st and 2nd Round helped him adapt and improve as the Fight went on.
CroCop shook him I believe in the first Round, but in typical Fedor Fashion he shrugged it off and came immediately back at CroCop.
IMO CroCop is ALWAYS dangerous and will always have a Chance to KO anyone including Fedor, but he needs to be as well-rounded as Fedor, and in better Cardio as Fedor if that is possible.
I certainly don't think it was a Fight that demonstrated the "If they fought 10x, Fedor would win 10x" Theory, but I think the Majority of the Time Fedor would walk away with the Win.
Sergei, Barnett and Hunt all have potential to be built in contenders too.

Right now, noone there is ready for the next title shot. They have built no one up. There is no clear cut #1 contender right now.

Crocop went back to his corner after round 1 with that same look BJ Penn had on his face after almost armbarring Jens Pulver...and the same look he had on his face fighting Hoost. I knew he was going to lose, right then.
The only reaosn people say Crocop did good the first round was because he was on his for back the next two. Sorry, but the first round was just Fedor demoralizing Crocop, sapping the fight out of him by taking what Crocop dished, delivering his own, pushing, pressing, and keeping Crocop backpedaling.
