I could have sworn their logo used to have an AK47.
But how do you DEFEND Aloha? Isn't that something you live and spread as opposed to DEFEND? The notion of defend, especially when paired with a gun, is more like something you are aggressively defending to the point of violence...which is kinda the opposite of Aloha.
Their shirt should read: "Spread Aloha" and a hibiscus flower should be the logo.
The picture should not be an AR but a shark tooth club.
Can I wear that shirt on kill haole day?
yes
Moke - Their shirt should read: "Spread Aloha" and a hibiscus flower should be the logo.
Suuuuure... that would really go over well on the HG...
Robobear -The picture should not be an AR but a shark tooth club.
This would be pretty cool. I've seen a house with a banner outside of it saying that they have "Defend Kalihi" stickers and shit. I might buy one to put on my '91 Hardbody. Lol.
We need more Kalihis.
"We need to bomb more places like Kalihi."
FIXED!
Back in the early 90s I lived high on the hog with my VHA and BAQ renting a place near Patch gate. Only way to Defend Hawaii is by taking out the trash!
hackett -Bullshit!
I'd seen the logo but never really knew anything about Defend Hawaii. DefendHawaii.com has this as their mission statement:
"Hawaii is often referred to as ‘the melting pot’ because our diversity in PEOPLE as well as cultures. When Hawaii is home base, literal location is not a factor. The familiar tread, tying us, is always ALOHA. DEFEND HAWAII simply strives to preserve the notion, to DEFEND the Aloha Spirit, the Hawaii way of life. Wherever you are, you’re PROUD to be from Hawaii, representing the culture and it’s essences.
Our AR-15 Logo is often questioned, but a gun is the strongest symbolized statement for the word DEFEND.
The logo is not meant to provoke violence, but rather figuratively suggest protection by the highest means. We’re here to plant the proverbial seed, initiate a positive thought process. To Defend Hawaii, is to Defend Aloha.."
(Doesn't seem so bad. They also encourage kids to wear helmets when they skateboard.)
"Defend Hawaii" guys are usually those that have no aloha in them.

yeah that's just a marketers after statement when the heat was on. so they water it down. lol at kkk marketing. :)
junon - dont get me started on Defend Hawaii.

A medal is definitely in order. The official Key to the city and county of Kaneohe is given when you hold the choke until seizures start.
