Did Josh Thomson break his hand in Bendo fight?

Since the fight, everyone keeps ragging on Benson that he couldn't even finish a guy with a broken hand, yet I've only heard that his hand was broken from Josh himself and Goldie/Rogan during the fight, who heard Josh say it.

In addition, he was not on the medical suspension list for a broken hand.

"Josh Thomson: Suspended 15 days for precautionary measures"

Last, here's a pic from his Instagram 6 days ago, in the gym looking like he's working out with no cast on.

He might have just dislocated his thumb. Which is almost as bad as breaking your hand (especially in grappling situations) Phone Post 3.0

Yes IF that's what happened, I agree. But I just keep seeing people making an excuse for Thomson and his broken hand and have not seen anything the verifies it. Sure it sucks to fight through pain but that happens in every fight, especially a 25 minute one. I was just curious if he did indeed break it or not, as many on here keep stating it as fact.

He mentioned that his thumb flopped backwards, so I assume it was dislocated. It was 'broken' in that it didn't work properly, rather than actually fractured.

People are giving Josh a handicap in this fight due to his hand. Even tho he didnt throw kicks, knees, elbows, left punches.. After the first round he did little to nothing to Ben.

I gave round 1 to Thomson and the rest to Benson. Ive watched the fight 3 times in total. And each time I watch it I get more and more confused how a true fan of MMA can say Josh won that fight...

I also have watched Hendricks vs GSP multiple times. Hendricks clearly won Rd 1,2,5.

People said the first round if the GSP Hendricks fight was "razor thin" .... mother fucker what??? open your eyes saan. GSP had a attempted choke lasted like 5 second until Hendricks was free. Hendricks controlled the rest of the round and landed vicious elbows on the cage.

Oh and Lyoto beat Phil Davis.... Phone Post 3.0

watch the fight and try to convince me GSP won 3 rounds to 2.

Maybe I got my rounds mixed up, havent watched the fight in a minute. But the "controversial round 1" was not controversial at all. Hendricks clearly won that round.

Will watch the fight again right now and see what I am missing. Phone Post 3.0

Rd 4 - Easy round to score.

10-9 Hendricks

Rd 5 - Close round.

10-9 GSP

No idea why you brought GSP/Hendricks into it, but hey I can play to, so why not.

1) God forbid GSP be given a close decision. Yes, a guy who won as many fights clearly, dare need one close decision. I'm sure Johny Hendricks will never need a close decision if he ever captures the belt and hopes to retain the belt. So cry a little more bitch.

2) GSP 3 Hendricks 2.

Round 1 GSP

Round 2, Hendricks for the 1st two mins.
Following Hendricks's failing to knock GSP down, (nevermind out) when he threw everything he had and spat out his own mouthpiece at "70%" it was GSP who would take back control and win the remaining 3 mins of round 2. After Hendricks came up short trying to take out the rock chinned champ, there was nothing more to see there from him in round 2. What an overblown round.

Round 3 was as clear round for GSP as Hendricks round 4 was for him, and at the end of round 3 GSP was in control for the better majority of 8 straight mins to go with edging out round 1.

Round 4, Hendricks success came from a very cheap/flukey/slip/trip takedown. GSP takes guys down like a man, that was a bitch takedown. It's funny how GSP detractors will discredit GSP when he dominates guys with takedowns. yet applaude and get excited about some bitch shit like that.

Round 5, last of the Championship rounds, Hendricks was out warriored and out championed. Thus he deserved to lose, thus he did lose.

Lolololol. I hope to god this is a troll post...

I don't understand how failing a submission attempt in round 1, having control for the first 28 seconds, then proceeding to get your ass kicked the rest of the round means you won the round. But people all have different opinions.

And round 2 was much more clear than round 4... Even though round 4 was pretty clear....

Aside from the shot that buckled George that was a pretty even round as I recall. Phone Post 3.0

The first half was Johny dominating. Did the most damage of the whole fight in that round. The second half was close.

But if you dominate the first half, then closely contend the second half. You win the round right? Phone Post 3.0

Definitely broken. Met him after the fight, cast and all. Phone Post

It's a conspiracy to make Ben look like a non-finisher.

Yea hendricks def won that round. I just remember it being somewhat close aside from the shot that buckled him Phone Post 3.0

So he took it off after a few days? The pic on the OP is from his Instagram about 1 week ago with no cast. And no medical suspension?
