Did JP O'Connor win the 2010 Outstanding Wrestler

award for the NCAA Champs? If not, anyone know who did?

Thanks

Jason Ness from Minnesota won the outstanding wrestler at the NCAA tournament, this is just for the tournament.  The Dan Hodge trophy (wrestling's Heisman) has not yet been awarded, I think that award will go to Jake Varner of Iowa State or Ness again... although O'Connor did finish the season undefeated too.  Hodge is based on dominance and pins and they were probably just a little stronger in that respect.

Thanks Bader. Appreciate it.

Hawkeye02 - Ness lucked out in the finals against Dennis. Hodge trophy should go to either Varner, Ness, or Borschel.

I don't think it was luck. Ness was due

Any chance that Howe from Wisconsin could win the Hodge trophy? Going undefeated as a true sophomore is legit.

Yeah, that was a sick move.

The first thing I thought of was Damien Hahn's win over Trenge several years ago. That one broke my nuts in half. I was really pulling for Jon.

I like Howe, but I don't think he has a shot at the Hodge this year.

Varner or Ness, but I'd guess Ness will win it. Ness had 18 pins I think.

Of course the Hawkeye fan thinks the undefeated, #1 seed just happened to get lucky in the NCAA finals. Hahaha.

I was really impressed with Dake of Cornell!

I'm an Iowa fan, and I applaud him for wrestling the full 7 minutes.  Unfortunately, Dennis didn't.

If Ness had done that to anyone else I wouldn't be so surprised, but an Iowa guy, wow!

I'm a Buckeye fan and I was left a little disappointed in their overall performance.
