I dont thi l he did it for the weight cut. That is cutnwitj clippers and then shaved with a razor. He's not taking time to lather up and shave his head in the middle of weighing in if he's having problems making weight. Also he is saying it wasnt for weight and that he never had a problem making wright which is true.

If he weighed in at 146 after cutting that off, absolutely.
The weight cut might have ruined his hair anyway. You have to figure the heat from the sauna and the lack of hydration due to not drinking water for a week dries it out like a motherfucker.
Hair is dead right? So once its damaged there is no fixing it. Also like others have said, he could have needed to cut it to save some grams of weight.
