...that diego's conditioning helped him recover from being dazed by BJ's strikes?
WTF?
Goldberg said that
fucking idiot asshole's
he got lucky, pure and simple. went limp twice and the ref did nothing. rediculous!
They say the same thing everytime someone gets rocked in the game
Mitch Baker - fucking idiot asshole's
Quality post.
sorry. i just hate diego so much. it makes me a little wacky.
Obviously it was a good decision to let the fight go. Diego is still trying to fight. Although with not too much success.
its true
That's what happens when you smoke a lot of weed before commentating.
lol
partly true
definitely true
I've heard Guy Mezger say that as well. Maybe there is some truth to it?
It might make sense, in a way. Being dazed and tired is gonna make your perform much worse than dazed and not tired, so it seems as if you recover faster if your conditioning is good.
Couldn't ones ability to take punches also be a form of conditioning?
ones ability to recover from being dazed by punches has nothing to do with conditioning.
How often do you see guys take a big shot early in the first round and not recover? According to Goldbergs statement, a well conditioned fighter with a full tank is....unflappable
Diego has gotten into power lifting after trying to beef up at 170, and has become much more muscular. The stronger your neck and upper back muscles, the better prepared you are to take stronger blows.
Ask anyone that's been rocked like that. You're very tired, disoriented, even after you've recovered. To continue on and not just survive the round but go 4 more is the definition of conditioning allowing him to pull through that situation.
As a green name I would have assumed you would have been able to figure that out. Go figure.
getting punched does not make you tired. I don't know how I can put it any simpler.
If you get blasted by the first punch of the fight, get dazed and subsequently pounded into the canvas, your cardio WASN'T the problem.

Can you do me a favor and just never stop talking?
