Diego Brandao admitted to having a gun, but said what he did was in self-defense.
The former UFC fighter's interrogation video with Albuquerque Police Department officers was obtained and released by TMZ on Thursday. Brandao was arrested last month on four felony counts, including assault with great bodily harm and assault with a deadly weapon.
"I don't want to f*ck up my life," Brandao told cops."

Jeez man, another dirt bag, criminal, cage fighter. And associated with Jones as well? It wont surprise me if the licensing gets pulled on this thing, which just seems to attract more and more violent criminals with each day that passes. What a shame.

When will people learn SHUT THAT FUCK UP during cops questioning. The stadistics are crazy for people that get off because they didn't say anything and just keep quiet and they had to let them out on insufficient evidance

I bring up Jones, not because i had any idea he is affiliated with him, but because during the interrogation he specifically mentions Jones and having been with him. I don't know what Jones is up to and I really don't care. I've had it with his criminal conduct. The guy is a menace and a danger. Now mention of his name during a criminal investigation into an assault and battery with a gun? Really concerning here, where this whole thing is going.
Some one mentioned this Diego guy was discovered on TUF and you tell us we trains with Jones. I don't follow TUF, so all I have to go on here is the word of a violent criminal and associating himself with Jones. The other guy he mentioned is Penn, who is under investigation with Penn. This is just a dirty, dirty, spectacle, this cage fight thing, and at the to of the list of dirt, the name Jones continues to surface. Whatever he's up to, so long as it only endangers himswelf and those like him, it really doesn't make any difference to me.

Gotcha...admittedly I did not watch the video but sounds like he was just name dropping the big name guys at his gym. I know BJ has only been there for a couple months at the most.

Diego is not a bad guy. He just needs to learn to not be so hot headed. He's actually a nice guy.
And this cop actually says "We don't want anybody to hear this, this is between us and won't go further.." or words to that effect. WTF!!! How low to release this to TMZ????? The cop lies on camera about divulging a conversation? Thats really underhand given the circumstances - sure if he had murdered someone than fine but this is a dispute. I'm kinda lost for words with the cops blatent deception

Ya not sure...I thought it was all public info and understood why they released it for Jones, as he's a pretty big name. But no one knows Brandao. And it does seem to happen more in NM
