Diego Sanchez is out of fight with Cowboy

Hopefully he just retires.

Diego Sanchez has been forced out of his upcoming fight against former teammate Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone at UFC Vegas 26 on May 8.

Multiple sources confirmed the information to MMA Fighting on Wednesday following an initial report from reporter Carlos Contreras Legaspi on Twitter.

Details surrounding Sanchez’s withdrawal from the card have not been revealed.

With Sanchez out, the UFC has started a search to find a new opponent for Cerrone, who is still expected to compete on the upcoming May 8 card.

Must have been the airport vending machine food.

Is he still stuck there??

Shit

That dude’s still fighting?

Bad news for sure.I really like that fight.

Dillashaw is off of the card also.

Chimaev??

Chimaev vs. Cowboy???

Hell nah!!! No need to keep feeding Cerrone to young lions who will destroy him. Let’s not sacrifice a legend’s reputation so Chimaev can continue to build his own.

Could Nick Diaz step in at 170?

I don`t think that Nick is even in the USADA testing pool. The UFC would have to find a loop hole.

Any reasons given for pulling out?

I have a feeling the video of Fabia bagging on the UFC at the airport didn’t sit too well with the big dogs…

I just went to Mccarran to check if he was still there, yep still there.

Don’t pretend the UFC wouldn’t just say “fuck it” to get Diaz back. Cerrone wouldn’t have an issue either.

Yessir, Troy.

Rude Boy!!!
Been a minute, good to see you and good to see you saying it out loud.

Was wondering if I was the only one that read it that way.

*Everything we believed in is over.
They did Diego wrong and don’t like that he said something when they treat him like he isn’t a money maker.

Its over.

It’s not our toy anymore…
