I know a TKO is when the ref stops the fight, but isn't that what happened in the Condit fight last night?
How does the ref determine if its a KO or TKO? He technically stops every fight regardless, so is it just a decision that he makes in his head?
Well Hardy was asleep so I'd consider that a KO
Mr Generic - The ref ALWAYS stops the fight. It depends on why he stopped it. <img src="/images/phone/post_tag.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/>
Right, so how does he make that distinction between the two? So if fighter is GNP'ng fighter B, and one of his punches on the ground looks to put fighter B out, the ref stops it, would that be a KO, because he stopped it after the fighter was knocked out?
TKO implies stoppage to prevent further damage, KO implies fighter absolutely cannot continue
like tank said "if you get knocked down queer street, you make a right, and you're back on main"
