Yesterday news broke that UFC champion TJ Dillashaw was leaving Team Alpha Male to train with Elevation Fight Team in Denver, CO. Last night Dillashaw spoke to MMAFighting about why he made that decision:

"Now, Elevation Fight Team came to me and they want to pay me some good money to train with them," Dillashaw said. "They're offering to pay me to train, instead of me paying to train. This sport is growing so much that that's the way I feel like it should be. We're professional athletes. I feel like I got treated better in college wrestling. I had a physical therapist on hand at all times, no matter what, when I was in college. And that's not where MMA is at yet."
Previously, Dillashaw said he had spent time with Elevation over his last two training camps, but it became expensive. He had to rent a home and travel in between four gyms for different aspects of MMA. However, this newly renovated MusclePharm gym will have everything under one roof. Dillashaw said the facility is "state of the art" and "bad ass."
"If anybody else was in my situation, they would take the exact same deal," Dillashaw said. "This is a very short-lived career. I have to do what's best for myself. I have to do what's best for my career and being on top for as long as possible. I can't fight forever. I've gotta fight and secure my future and decide what I'm gonna do with my life. This is a great opportunity."
It says Faber is the next logical choice if TJ beats Dom? He just lost, and hasn't won a 135 fight this year. He arguably was losing the Riviera fight before the accidental eye poke.
There are testing facilities for Gatorade, Nike, etc.. and with MusclePharm having a stake in this gym/facility, it sounds to me like they are paying him to be a guinea pig test subject. He will have access to everything he wants and will be poked and prodded for scientific evaluations. Maybe have him also test new MusclePharm products and how they effect his training and body, including muscle recovery.

He lost a close but clear decision to frankie edgar at 145 no shame in that, he held his own. Cub Swanson got absolutely destroyed by frankie edgar in the previous fight. What was he ranked at the time they fought? Pretty sure he was top 3. Faber would probably be top 5 or at least top 10 at FW if he stayed there.
But anyway this isn't about FW this is about BW and he is still a top dog there and the drama makes for a good fight. he is 6-1 in his last 7 with a 2 fight win streak. There is no one else that is overly worth anyway. Sure you could make the Assuncao rematch and he does have a decent win stream against barely top 15-20 opponents but it's not that interesting.
If faber wins his fight in decemember the fight will be made.
