With a dominating win over Renan Barao this weekend, TJ DIllashaw has his eyes set on the only other man to hold the bantamweight title: Dominick Cruz.

In a perfect world, Dillashaw would like to face Cruz for his next title defense so they can settle the debate once and for all who is the only true UFC bantamweight champion.
"(Dominick Cruz) that's the biggest fight," Dillashaw said at the post fight press conference. "That's what's going to make my name the biggest, fighting Cruz, at this weight class. As soon as he's able to come back."
The problem Dillashaw has with that matchup is Cruz's ability to stay healthy enough to actually make the fight happen. As dominant has Cruz has been when he's fighting, it's his own body that's prevented him from climbing back into the cage time and time again.
"If he stays healthy. I don't know if he can. Come on Dominick. Let's get after it," Dillashaw said. "He used to be the champ."
Dominator doesn't lose this fight. Time/injuries might beat him, but a prime in shape injury less Cruz=#1 135lber
I am not sure how you can say that confidently, haha
Pretty much how folks called Mendes destroying McGregor with total certainty in spite of the endless logical reasons why this would probably not be the case.

#1, you won't find any post of me claiming that Mendes would destroy McGregor
#2, are you comparing Dominick Cruz to Mendes? Are you aware they have totally different fighting styles?
How could people not respect TJ for wanting this fight? Cruz has never lost at 135. His only loss was to prime Faber. I just hope Cruz can go. He's been able to fight for all of 1 minute in 4 years and that left him with another injury.

To be honest...he beat HB twice and a one day replacement. Aren't there other contenders out there?
Cruz is a risky guy to book or have holding a belt because of his health.
But fuck it - I would like to see how it plays out.
