Disrespectful Cain fans

I really want to like Cain. He's such an amazing fighter and I have so much respect for the dedication and skill level he has in MMA. But honestly, seeing his fans waving MEXICAN flags and signs with the racist BROWN PRIDE statement, viva MEXICO, etc...it just amazes me that this stuff is not filtered out by the UFC. I know money is the most important thing for a business and by allowing Cain's racist and culturally insensitive fans to propagate their agenda it may lead to more TV buys, but where is the social responsibility as a freaking human being?? It is so incredibly racist and disrespectful that it makes me dislike Cain. I could overlook Cain being proud of his law breaking father and trying to spin things that his dad did into something positive...I mean people would do the same for their father. However, to have a following of racists that are so obviously open about it is nothing a "role model" should portray. Really sucks as a fan of the UFC.

Only way to counter this is to bring White Pride signs to the next UFC. Even better the next one is in Germany!

UG UNITE!

I'm just personally disapointed. I generally never see dividing lines in this sport with regards to nationality, races, etc. The closest we get is "Brazilian superiority" and that is simply arrogance over a fighting system they created.

I'm not a big fan of drawing the racial line in the sand. It makes folks of all kinds of different nationalities and ethnicities angry, arrogant, boastful, hateful, bigoted, and biased. Right now we have thousands of hispanics (mexican in particular) running around screaming Brown Pride, Viva La Raza, Mexican is better than American, etc. And we have just as many other kinds of people upset, bitter, and angry at them having ethnicity thrown in their face.

It's a step backward in society, and part of the reason I don't like boxing and refuse to watch it much anymore. It is a "changing of the guard" as Joe Rogan was forced to say 15 times. It's now changing into a sport that is racially motivated. Sad day.

I agree. It's just very discouraging as someone who really likes MMA and has been a fan for the past 17 years to see this sort of behavior and racism widely accepted. I wish I could get past it but it's just such a big issue for me.
