there HAD to be two judges to score the fight for Al. Iaquinta didn't win that fight on the eyes of just one judge.
His incompetent judging in the first Penn vs Edgar fight altered the entire history of that division, and contributed to sending Penn's career off the rails. The reality is that Penn deserved to win that first fight, and in retrospect we know now that Frankie Edgar was an elite fighter and future champion, which would've made it one of BJ's most impressive wins. The reality is also that Edgar kept improving while Penn had already dropped Marinovich, so I'm not saying that Penn would've won either the second or third fights, but how much more intriguing would that third fight have been had they both gone into it 1-1, and minus those unneeded beatings BJ was on the receiving end of at 170?
I heard Crosby is such a buttface that the other two judges scored the fight for Iaquinta just to stick it to him.
How did Still, Nash and Young score it, though?
