Has anyone here made their own DIY grappling/bjj mat? At the moment I'm kinda stuck training at home and a little low on spending funds. Any pointers or blue prints to making one?

How does training on them feel? Where does one purchase "sheet foam"? 
My roommates and I made some grappling mats while in college. The total cost was $100. It consisted of 3 layers of carpet foam, covered by a 12'x12' tarp. It was great for rolling, but not so good for takedowns.

I got the sheet foam through a training partner who had some connections at a factory. But I just typed sheet foam into ebay and shed loads of the stuff is available!
