DL twice in same cycle?

I'm currently on a cycle of sumo deadlifts. I've just finished a six week cycle of 20 rep squats. I'm lifting twice a week so would it be ok to on day 1 have my main core exercise as the sumo deadlift and on my next workout have the main core exercise as the trap bar deadlift?

I'm just worried there's too much similarity!

Bear in mind I can't squat heavy at the moment.


The trap bar dead is much more like a squat than a deadlift.

How many days apart?
