Has anyone ever heard of this stuff, or used it. I wonder what kind of results you got with it if you did. I heard it helps for joint problems if you have them.

It makes you smell like garlic, and it's only approved to treat Interstitial Cystitis.
So, if your joint problems are caused by a dysfunction in the glycosaminoglycan layer of the BLADDER, you're set.
Since your elbows and knees have nothing to do with the bladder though... :)

DMSO is very controversial in the US, but accepted in a lot of other countries.

I love it. Helped reduce swelling and inflammation when I broke my patella...I was back on the mat a month sooner than I should have been.
Its controversial in the US, because its not well understood. If aspirin came out today, the FDA probably wouldn't approve it until they completely understood how it worked. Same with DMSO.
The garlic smell is the only drawback...worth a shot
