Pettis is the last WEC Champ, will get next title shot after Gil, and has the most creative and exciting striking in all of MMA. Oh and not to mention he's on of nicest and most humble guys in the sport. If anyone hates on this guy then they're just unhappy people and jealous and insecure. Or your obsessed with Arianny and pissed because he banged her, cause I just heard that aparently happened. 
octowussy - The UG hated the fuck out of Pettis post-Guida fight. He was overrated, all style no substance, etc.
Those people are whate are called "Fairweather fans" and don't understand what a wrestling blanket gameplan can accomplish.
Not sure your facts are straight there isn't much said bad about Pettis the guys in here know talent when they see it they may bust chops but when the skills are good the boys in the UG recognize! I love you guys!
Do alot of people really dislike him? He's never came off to me as arrogant or anything else negative. But, he never really captured me personality wise either. I can't hate on the dude....he's good. I genuinely liked both cerrone and pettis, Congrats to him.
I don't hate him but for some reason I ALWAYS underestimate him, and he ALWAYS surprises me.

Agreed, if it wasn't for CLay on his Current "How can I shit on MMA with my gameplans" streak I believe he would have the belt and be that superstar.

Not me buddy no ones happier for him then me tonight he really showed everyone that he's not to be fucked with.... He disposed of Cerrone like nothing but there are a host of people who after the fact are still bashing him.
