It's REAL. Think about it, both guys were in the same camp at one point, fighting in the same weight class. Shit went down, Bones gets a title shot, Rashad felt betrayed, starts talking shit, the fued begins. Who's jacking who's swagger, who's cocky, who's full of themselves, who's self righteous.
2 "brothas" hating on each other. IF a fight takes place between these guys, I'm sure there will be more shit talking leading up to it.
I don't think Jones cares. If he's as smug as all the haters say he is, then he doesn't care about any of these guys talking bad about him.

It's building interest. There's a reason Dana has been going crazy with forcing fighters to use Twitter and show up in the media more than ever.
Rather than set-up a single fight like Jones/Rampage, he now has a string of fights he can set up while those two keep pretending to hate each other more and more.

I think it's a manufatured beef. Wouldn't be surprised if they got together and agreed that, since they were going to have to fight, they should pretend to have a falling out and hate each other. The whole Tito/Chuck template worked well in the past, so they're applying on a larger scale with the help of social media.
The only thing that weakens my conspiracy theory is Greg Jackson's involvement. In interviews he has seemed to be genuinely upset about the falling out. I have a hard time imagining him going along with the whole thing.
Honestly, I think the beef is more with Rashad than it is Jones. Rashad is the one who lost it when Bones said he would fight Rashad "only if Dana threatened to fire him." After that comment, Rashad went on to say crap about Bones, then Bones said crap about Rashad, so on and so on.
I don't think there is real hate but there may be some dislike for each other.
After Rashad fought Rampage, he tweeted something to the effect of "We sure did good. We made a lot of money and got everyone to believe we hated each other."
I remember seeing a thread about it on here.
A few forum members were commenting on also seeing it right after the thread was created.
The tweet was taken down merely minutes later.
If Rashad is faking it, he's a hell of an actor. I remember hearing a radio interview where you could hear him getting all choked up when they asked about Greg Jackson. I vote legit (hope I'm not wrong).
Unless RMA knows about the troll angle, and is in on it too....He's the guy to ask about this. When its been asked before, I believe he has stated that its very real

Fuck, the Internet has a lot to answer for! Some people will believe any elaborate conspiracy theory. Of course it's real you idiots, do you think Rashad would leave Jackson's and be deeply emotional about it all for the sake of a bit of promotion?
I definitely think it started off real, but now I think the emotion and anger is over and their both just habing fun with the whole thing.
