Sometimes for fun I try to see how long I can drive with my eyes shut.
My record is 21 seconds on a busy road. It's scary because you could hit a pedestrian or another vehicle.
I don't always but when I do it is right before I crash. 
No but sometimes I jump in the back seat and jerk off. Trying to finish before I crash is a real turn on.
I will close my eyes to see how long also but only when I'm alone

Mookie 3:16 -I think "highway hypnosis" is a great term and I've had it happen to me. Mostly happens on my way back from work. For instance, there's a DQ right at the next light after my turn to go home. Occasionally I'll set out to go there but make my turn anyway and only remember after the fact. I don't consider it particularly dangerous, I notice anything unusual almost instantly. But if nothing unusual occurs, sometimes the brain 100% goes on autopilot and the drive to and from work is pretty much a blur.homegrowncone -
