Now that its almost been a full year since the Condit-Diaz fight, do you hate Condit for the way he fought?
Before the fight with Diaz I was pretty 50-50 on who I wanted to win. But when it happened I wasnt happy as to HOW Condit won, I think it was mainly because he was talking a big game of knocking Diaz out.
Overall as a fighter Condit is great and I guess I have to give him props on coming in with a great gameplan to beat Diaz. It really was only the second time he's won by decision.
After reviewing his Career im kinda hoping he beats GSP as I feel like he would make for a much more exciting Champion.

I hate the way he fought, but I don't hate him. It wasn't Guida-level running, so I can give him a free pass for that one. I'll still be rooting for him against GSP.

I love Carlos, he's one of my favorites. I remain IMPRESSED by how he beat Diaz, and frustrated him doing it.

One of my favorite fighters. Dude has absolutely sick skills, only been to decision twice, has heart for days, and is an all-around badass

I dont hate him for the way he fought but I certainly hate the way he fought. It was confusing as hell to me honestly. 26 out of 28 wins by finish. Used to be you could say he was always exciting but he really shat the bed with the Diaz fight. Biggest fight of his career, all eyes on him and he basically conceded that he could not win a fight against the guy and fought for points. It was kinda sad.

He was my favorite WW before the Diaz fight and I still like him but now he's just behind Diaz as my favorite WW's.

You really think Condit, win or lose against GSP, has more earning potential over the next few years than Nick Diaz? Come on.
Condit has sick skills and a huge heart like someone mentioned above but he apparently didnt think they were enough to beat Diaz. He had a chance to be a fucking hero, beat Nick Diaz, and make himself a household name had he beaten Diaz in the fight everyone expected to happen. Instead he made for a crappy fight and lost tons of fans in the process. Yes, he got a shot at the title, but I think most people are less excited to see him fight than before and will certainly care less to see him fight if he loses to GSP. I really hope Condit brings it against GSP because if its another crap fight no one is going to want to see him headline anytime soon.
Crazy thing is I really think he had a good shot at beating Diaz straight up. Diego Sanchez took it to Diaz for christ's sake. Diaz is not the monster people make him out to be.
