Does gifted athlete=good trainer?

I always had the opionion that naturally gifted athletes do not make good trainers. Mostly for the reason that they could see themselves doing this or that, and can't understand why nobody else could do what they do. I mean, could you see tyson as a coach? He'd be like "what's wrong with you, knock him out already." That's not to say all fighters make bad coaches, but I think gifted athletes can't identify with us pions

You're generalizing
