DC has the job that he does because he’s black.
He was mostly unpopular as a fighter, constantly being criticized for not being a genuine personality. He’s not particularly well spoken, not a polished commentator or interviewer, he’s not insightful, not even all that passionate about the whole game.
He’s an inoffensive black face who will show up and do the job. That’s it.
