To all who don't know, Dennis Hallman came home Wednesday night with his 3 boys to his house on Fire. They lost everything on the day we were all giving thanks...
Well it's our turn to give him something to be thankful for.. Please reach out and donate if you can...
doesn't really matter... my mother lost her home to a house fire 2 years ago. she is still dealing with tons of grief, sending receipts week after week only to have claims stalled and debt building up... she lost almost everything, bought back only her necessities, and she's still having trouble getting everything she deserves from the insurance company.. they want to offer 1 petty lump sum now to close the insurance case, but it's just pathetic, my mom hasn't gotten back nearly half her things.
not to mention my mother doesn't have 4 children living at the house. we are all adults and moved out..
i imagine the Hallman family is feeling mighty shitty about it all right now. you cannot prepare the awkward kids of ages 11-13-15 to lose literally everything.. it's just shocking to them and tragic
my family will be sending what we can, the Hallmans will be in our thoughts
well him having insurance does matter, and i don't think you can have a home mortgage without carrying homeowners insurance, but i was stating that insurance will not replace everything that was lost in any timely manner
Insurance companies are bullshit. They will tie you up as long as they possibly can to save from having to pay out for what we pay into every month for yrs.

Damn, so sorry to hear of this. Will certainly jump on there. I have three boys too and I could not humanly imagine coming home and seeing our house being crushed. Hang in there superman.

best of luck to him and his family
Your mother should be calling her states attorney general. The attorney general of every state LOVES cases like these. They get some great media attention for gutting the insurance company. Martha Coakley is the Attorney General in Massachusetts and she don't play that shit. She's a friggin pitbull when it comes to nailing insurance companies like this.
TTT for Dennis' family. I will be sending out some clothes ASAP
