I don't know who the UFC thinks they're fooling... but we all know what's going on here.
Between the Forrest and Rashad comments, UFC knows that their fighters have been attracting a shitload of negative attention with their comments.
But they're such big stars, they aren't going to be cut.
So UFC needed a scapegoat... and since Torres has been an undercard fighter who has just fought, he was expendable.
Made an example so that it looks like UFC is taking action.
It isn't going to last. Even Dana knows how ridiculous this move is. Fired for repeating a joke that FOX aired on its own network!
Just wait until someone gets "injured" within the next few months, and Torres steps right back into the UFC... probably fighting just as soon as he would have anyway.
