I feel like everyone is overreacting to some degree. Yes the ads suck. Especially if you paid for this app, like me. And $30 a year for a pro/ad free app sucks. But the ads are really not that big of a deal. They don't make it hard to read the threads or posts. There are things that could be fine tuned but I think overall it is an improvement.
Cons:
-ads....but meh
-refreshing threads all the time is huge. Sometimes I click on one thread while eying one a few threads down. Now when I hit "back" they aren't always where they once were.
-Smaller, less bold font.
The only thing truly frustrating it the refreshing threads every time you go to the UG/tehOG. I think this will prob be changed by what some of the mods have said. The ads don't bother me as much as the $30 a year to get rid of them. It seems like another ploy to get more pro memberships. But overall I do think it's an improvement. I hated it at first this morning but I'm liking it tonight. I am drinking though....
