Is Zuffa setting up a unification?
The timing is genius if they are.
Will Cormier fight Cain? If he comes to the UFC he will have to at some point. The heavyweight division is not that deep.

Good question.
The timing of the event is no coincidence, I think that is clearly what they are doing. We already know that the SF heavyweight division is being dissolved. At first they said the Barnett/Cormier winner would fight one more time, maybe that's not the case now. I hope so.
It'd be cool if they were, but I get the feeling the winner of Mir/Cain is probably your next title challenger.
It's not like it would be a title unification bout. Reem/Santos already has that covered. Let the winner of Josh/Cormier fight the loser of Cain/Mir to get in line. While the winner of Cain/Mir gets a title shot.
who the hell is DOS?
It's Portuguese, not Spanish, so "Dos" is not "Two", it's something like "of the". It's like the Dutch word "Van" used in names. So calling him like this makes no sense at all.
To the man above me - you know who he was referring to when he said Dos right?
That's why. Who the fuck would get their panties in a bunch over something like that?
Strikeforce heavyweight grand prix was a DISASTER. Cant believe it still hasn't concluded yet

I recall saying Cormier saying they would, but probably only for the title.

Get the mods to increase thread title size and i'll stop abbreviating.
I have no prob seeing Ubereem vs Barnett in a HW unification bout :)

Dos Reem, that's alot of horse meat...

They very well may have to because they both appear to be elite level HWs, but the depth in the HW division is rapidly improving.
You obviously have JDS & Reem at the top, but right after them you Cain, Cormier, Barnett,Werdum,Mir, possibly Carwin if he's healthy enough.
Then you have a decent lineup of solid HWs like Bigfoot, Mark Hunt, Cheick Kongo, Big Nog(on his last legs but still dangerous),Big Country, Gonzaga, Russow, Lavar Johnson, Pat Barry, Chad Griggs, Mitrione, etc.
Then you have a number of promising young HWs like Stipe Miocic, Shane Del Rosario, Shawn Jordan, Travis Browne, and Stefan Struve.
And if Dana can make up with Tito and Josh Barnett, who's to say we won't see The Last Emperor make his way over in the next year?
This is the best HW division we've seen since the Pride days, and far and away the best HW division the UFC has ever had.

That's what I was saying. They weren't good for a long time but it appears as if that has changed.
