It's funny how people have been bashing Cyborg all day saying she should never fight again but most of these same people praise Sonnen and call him the real champ, calling for a immediate rematch and basically dick riding him nonstop.
dey mad
The reason is quite simple.
Compare Sonnens build compared to the average UFC fighter.
Now compare Cyborgs build compare to the average female Strikeforce fighter...., MMA fighter, or any male fighter, body builder, superhero....and on, and on, and on...
Cyborg is WAY bigger than any single female in MMA, and many of the guys in the lighter weight classes as well. There is a huge difference between her and Sonnen. Circumstances are similar but different as well. Sonnen at least had doctor prescribed medication. Sounds like it may have been abused, but still.
Not me!!!
I've bashed Sonnen quite thoroughly.

There was supposed to be a plus sign in that...

Roids aren't always just for muscle gain they are used to quicker recoveries and such too... Does using it to recover faster so you can train harder make it any less of a crime then using it to get huge?
I am very well aware of the uses. You just wondered why the difference and that is clearly why. Sonnen didn't dominate Anderson because he was stronger. He did it because he was better...at least on that night.
Cyborg on the other hand clearly wins her fights do to her overwhelming power. She is HUGE. That is why the difference in how all of this is being looked at. It is because of her looks compare to other women. Sonnen on the other hand doesn't have any kind of looks that would make someone say "Its obvious he does roids..."
Personally I don't agree with using them for anything, recovery or otherwise as long as you are an active fighter. It is what it is though. As long as the pressure to perform is there people will always try to find a way. Random testing, and more complete testing, as well as additional testing is the only way to cut this kind of thing back.
