Now this purely hypothetical and just for fun but I think it'd be a great fight for the fans if Conor was to move up to lightweight and Nate was willing to go back down.
Who wins and why? Conor has better power and movement but Nate has proven toughness and a relentless pace.
Does Nate make Conor wilt in the face of his relentless onslaught or can Conor beat Nate on the feet and possibly finish him since he claims his power is even better at LW?

Nate has such a size advantage over conor it's hard to see how he as a counter puncher who uses his reach well could fight a longer larger fighter. We haven't seen it yet so it's hard to predict how he could react

I really like Conor but it's refreshing to see the UG has bitten onto the hype too hard yet.
Conor would make him look slow and foolish. Their striking is miles apart. Conor is twice the athlete, and he comes from an equally depressing place.
Good fight but I think Nate might edge him now Nate v Gunnar that's a great fight maybe at 155.
I like Nate over Gunnar at this point based on styles. I think it would go to decision, and be close, but Nate would be busier, and Gunnar wouldn't let his emotions make him deviate from the plan. Fun matchup. I really think conor would take Nate's head off and he'd be drooling after the fight.

Would be an awesome fight! McGregor isn't much smaller than Nate and is much more effective with kicks. He's also quicker and Nate hasn't fought in a while, so I would lean slightly towards the GOAT in this one.

I pick Nate by first round sub. Connor is halfway to victory based on intimidation alone each time he steps into the cage. He wouldn't be able to get into nate's head like he's done everyone else.
