I do a workout with Kirik once a week. There is one drill we do, where parter 1 wears a gi, and gets on the floor in a turtle position. Partner 2 grips the gi under Partner 1's body, and throws himself up and over parter 1. Do you know the drill I'm talking about? He told me that he got it from you.

My question is this: does this put any dangerous stress on the lower back? It could be that I'm not yet strong enough to engage all of my muscles to stabilize myself as I go over, but I feel like there's a weighty pull on my spine when I'm partner 2.
