Drugs or Alcohol + Training?

Ok, so if I train really hard in the afternoon after work, running lifting weights etc. Whats the best poison I can take? I really Don't like drinking after working out, so which is worse taking a few pain killers, or smoking a bowl?

Ive been trying to eat very healthy and take care of myself, I have a feeling the pain killers arent as bad as smoking. But will either have a negative impact on my muscle building process?

I really hope to get an answer here. The reason for doing this is that my body isnt really normal, I have some extreme pain after working out sometimes and theres nothing my Doc's can do about it. I just want to find a way to relax after workouts.

I think smoking a bowl would be less damaging to your goals out of alcohol and pills. As a matter of fact I don't think weed would have any negative impact on your muscle building goals whatsoever. I was a pothead for years and was fairly large and ripped.

Most alcohol has alot of sugar and if I remember correctly it's been stated as having muscle wasting components.

Pills are just a bad deal all around.

So loratab would be bad? The girl Im dating gives me bottles of loratab all the time and other pain meds too. I guess I'll just sell them.

A lil bit of pills are not going to hurt. Think about all the pro bb's on painkillers. Weed is ok, just dont go smoking an eighth a day or some shit.

I'd definitely smoke a bowl. Alcohol hinders protein synthesis, and pain pills are bad news. Buds are the way to go.

Use the weed in your smoothies like the powdered greens people like to take.

White Russians are a source of protien for post workouts. I drink them after a day of skiing make mine a double.

Brewers yeast is a source of b vits which could make a case for some microbrews.

GHB was taken by a lot of body builders before rapists found out about it. You could ruffie yourself.

The NSAID component(acetaminophen) of narcotic pain killers inhibits protein synthesis as well... as others have mentioned, MJ is probably the least harmful if not completely benign.

Dont get hooked on painkillers, I've seen that lead to bad addictions that resulted with death or jail.

drink chamomile tea it has sedative effects i believe, and its antispasmodic. if i work out really hard and have a few strong cups before bed i notice im not as sore the next day, and not as tense.

i also try to avoid both weed, any kinds of pills, and the use of alcohol as a pain killer.

smoking weed is bad...putting it in a smoothie is stupid and wont work...p-nut butter crackers-pre-heat oven to 320-sandwich weed in crackers and bake for 22 minutes...best muscle relaxer EVA!

Kava is good, the real stuff. It can mess up your liver though so you have to be carefull.
