Let’s be honest! This is a pointless trilogy fight. Max lost both fights before this. Max also couldn’t figure out the riddle of Alexander Volkanovski.
Max is three years younger. I don’t know why Poirier is retiring at 36 years old. I guess UFC is giving him a fight they know he can win in his hometown as a thank you for an incredible career.
If Max Holloway wins the fight he sends Dustin out of the UFC on a negative note. Keep in mind that some fighters retire just to get attention. They come back a few months later. I hope that’s not what Dustin is doing here. I doubt it.
