Having seen the fights at a stupid hour this morning due to my timezone, I have to say that whilst the Gonzaga fight seemed like there were some back of the head shots but he could've been dropped by the legal ones, the Dylan fight seemed to be far more debatable but isn't getting much consideration.
The first punch was at the back of the head and many of the finishing punches too. The first more by accident (basically hooked and missed and connected behind head), and the rest as a result of adrenaline.
I'm not blaming Dylan but maybe Quinlan has a cause for complaint at the officiating? Perhaps someone has gifs or has noticed it too.
Apologies if this thread has been made as I have not seen one.
Most of them looked right behind the ear to me.
Thanks for the gif.

Yea some of them are questionable, I just found them a little more questionable than the Gonzaga fight.

If you take a high profile case like the Brock Lesnar/Mir, I think this one was worse.

If it's a safety issue I think if you connect 2mm next to the ear and the rest of your impact towards the back of the head then clarity is needed.

Also the one that dropped him seemed to connect at the back, and if you look at the direction they are going practically straight down with Quinlan himself nose down. If it's more likely the back than the side then perhaps the referee should do something (he was close enough!)
They are more questionable because without a doubt Travis Browne illegally elbowed gonzaga atleast 3 times as for Dylan those are legit shots but they are close enough to argue
First punch is legit even if it hit back of the head. U will never get a call like that when te fighters are standing and one ducks his head.
Looks like a lite brown John jones
just like what serra stunned gsp with: forearm to back of the head
