EA MMA vs UFC 2010

I got the UFC 2010 with my xbox and it's alright. Considering buying the EA game and wondering how they stack up against each other. Opinions?

Get both. Different strokes for different folks...ea has some holes but it's still pretty good comapred to the rest. Phone Post

It's fun. I would recommend it Phone Post

Is the game play similar to the fight night games?

That whole series has been one of my favourites since it came out.

Save ur money both games suck Phone Post

Wait 3 months, the EA game will be $20 by then... If its not cheaper.

EA MMA > UFC undisputed

ea mma does not suck. its a good game

EA MMA > UFC Undisputed Phone Post

I like both but I think ea Mma edges it for me. Like prev guy said there are holes but it is fun to play. Phone Post

I've played both and the EA is much better but not selling because they don't have the names , most gamers would rather use BROCK , BJ , GSP over Overeem , Mayhem , Melendez but the gameplay is sooo much better but unless ur an MMA junkie the game isn't ass appealing

I like EA's grappling mechanics more, but the career mode sucks ass compared to UFC.

UFC is kinda simple, because you can only fight for the one company, but what's so great about EA-MMA? You have no choice on who you fight, and you only get to make 3 decisions. Which company. Not worthy.

Plus, UFC had better customization options.

I have both for ps3, and in my opinion UFC 2010 is better. Just seems more fluid, from looks to gameplay. The big stinker in it is how easy it is to KO people.

Neither game is realistic, since on UFC some argue you have too much energy and can do too many combos with little coincidence, and in ea mma, brett rogers dodges your punches like anderson silva, and the overall action is slow.

Both careers suck :D Also ea mma lacks game modes - like a tourny, or something longer then 1v1 and shorter then career. Ea mma also lacks com v com :(

yeah, ea mma should have had a tagteam match...

EA MMA is fun and everything, but it's no where near UFC. It's a fun game on it's own, just don't compare the two, or EA will disappoint you, imo.

The grappling on EA is far superior much less button mashing

Ufc game online is so boring and so laggy. People do the same stuff over and over Phone Post

There is no button mashing on UFC 2010 grappling. There was on UFC 2009.

There is sort of a lack of positions and movement in EA grappling, but it can still be fun.

This really just depends on who you play with. I have a great internet connection and rarely have noticeable lag. If there is lag I know it's because the other person has shitty internet.

The game can be boring if you're playing somebody who is boring. Ranked matches tend to be boring as people always play with the same character and use the same technique. If you play Player matches it tends to be way more interesting, as long as the other person knows how to play and is willing to mix it up.

It also seems to take a lot longer to get into live games on EA.
