As a free man and a secured entity, Ed Herman did not have to obey State or Federal Law which do not appy to sovereign Citizens.

The 14th amendment of the constitution was never correclty ratified, and that would be ( if it was legal ) the contract which would bind a citzen to the laws of the Federl Government.

Ed Herman is not bound by that contract. He never forfieted his rights, therefore he still has his rights.

Through their actions the people of the United States of America have overwhelming accepted and acted in accordance with the 14th amendment. There is no requirement for contracting on an individual basis.
