I just rewatched Anderson vs. Rich from UFC 77 on the UFC website, and standing there in the cage during the fighter introductions is Ed Soares! He even walks to the stare-down with Anderson. How does Soares get this opportunity? I don't know if I've ever seen this before. Is this the only time for a cornerman/ manager to be in the cage during the fighter intros?
