I am hoping Eddie Bravo can answer this post, or anyone who is very familiar with the rubber guard.
First, I have been using the rubber guard for about 3 months now. I saw it from a couple of Eddies atricles and have been following the directions in Eddie's book (good book by the way). So far the rubber guard has been working great for me. I tap most people with more experience in with by triangle or an arm bar. Also, most people in it have a hard time getting out.
With that said, yesterday was the first time someone put the rubber guard on me, and they tapped me with a triangle. It took them a couple of times before they coulg tap me, but every time the used the rubber guard, they were able to get one of my hands in and one out, which leads to the triangle. I was able to prevent most of his attacks, but it was hard and eventually I got caught. My question is, when you are in someones rubber guard, how do you get out, and what do you do to prevent getting tapped?

Thanks a lot! :)
On a serious note, Eddie, I really like your stuff and am interested in learning some of your stuff to practice with. You are in LA correct? Do you do private lessons? I live in SD and can make it up there to take a private to learn some of this stuff and go over it. Can you send me a private message and we can talk the details over this?
