i think shields is a great fight for anyone. he's tough durable, great bjj, and he can grind out a win in most cases. but i think he is better suited to go up to MW. especially with his partner nick diaz coming in to the WW mix. unless they are willing to throwdown with one another i just dont see much logic behind him staying in the WW division.
KrisDonahoo -minotauro11 - Ellenberger wins this. Shields is over rated and has the worst striking in the UFC's welterweight division. Ellenberger has dynamite in his hands and good grappling. This. And for those who want BJ vs. Shields, do you really think it would be that different? BJ's boxing and take down D would be the death of Shields, too.
I agree 100%, and that's ok with me
it's better than shields vs most anyone else and better than fitch/penn 2 imo
plus jake called BJ out, so if he gets boxed up and laid out, he kinda asked for it
