Embroidery ok on Gi's or patches only?

I've never had a sponsor ask to embroider on my gi, so I actually don't know if it's legal in competition. Is it? Phone Post 3.0

Ibjjf allows embroidery; I believe it has to be in the same areas patches are allowed. Trying to find the actual rule to post Phone Post 3.0

Embroidery is 100% okay as long as, as said above, it stays within the legal areas.  You should be all good!
