For languages sharing words and names with English, the English pronunciation should always be adopted.

The only exceptions should be for Latin, French, and German words and expressions.

I don't know about that but I saw a Jewish mother getting testy with somebody who was pronouncing her kid's name wrong, the poor person was pronouncing it using English sounds but was trying her best to pronounce it properly. The mother kept insisting on a pronunciation that had difficult sounds that don't exist in English. I thought it was unreasonable.
