THE MOVIE This feature documentary is the first to explore the rise of Brazilian MMA. We look at how 'Jungle Fight' came into being, starting out in Manaus, Amazonas, heart of the Amazon rain forest, lead by the figure of Wallid Ismail. We film fifteen intense MMA fights in Brazil at 'Jungle Fight', contests that represent the best in MMA. We trace Wallid's origins in Amazonas, Northern Brazil, look at his fighting career and profile his current role as a promoter, as he moves between the different worlds of Brazil and Hollywood. We discover the raw, new, Brazilian fighters, just starting out on their careers, some of whom will be the MMA champions of tomorrow.

Watching it now. It's been pretty damn good so far. If you are into MMA then you are going to love this. Just seen Wendel Oliveria and his Mum talk about their life in the favela then followed then to a Jungle Fight event in the Amazon then met Sergio Moraes (after seeing the fights) and his wife - saw him playing some amazing Capoira in his favela and now the film is in City of God for Jungle Fight 33 I think - its awesome. Also a great soundtrack. All money from the indemand service (or most of it) goes to the film makers. Get on it!
