Escaping Mount attempt (i believe pedro sauer vid)

Can someone bump the thread that had (I believe Pedro Sauer giving) the details on how to recover guard/half guard when the opponent is attempting to mount. He said that he learned the detail from Ryron and the video looks to be at a seminar. Thanks.

Pedro is one of my favorite instructors. Incredible knowledge, an open mind, and a genuinely nice guy to boot.

He still doesn't know how to tie a fuckin' gi right, though. lol

Ah, now you guys have touched on something I wanted to ask higher belts.

I'm fairly ok with baiting the mount and getting the elbow hip escape to either half guard for a sweep or to full guard. How do you decide what to do, bait the full mount vs. working your side control escapes.

Currently, I try to work the side control escapes, if I'm really struggling to get out, then I try to bait, for the elbow escape (usually heavier and higher belts are the guys I'll struggle with or if someone has really established side control and is hell bent on holding only). Not sure if this is the way to go. Thoughts advice from the highers would be great. Thanks.

It would be any half guard sweep. The elbow escape gets you to half or full guard then you work from there.
