Former World Jiu-jitsu Champion, Ze Mario "Esfiha" will be in Calgary April 19th to April 25th teaching at the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Fight Club.
He will teach daily Monday to Friday from 6-10 PM, and we will have two seminars, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. The Sunday seminar will be no-gi and Saturday with the Gi. All other classes will be with the Gi.
Everyone is welcome to attend, bring paper and pen to take down notes and your own water bottles. The Big Guy will teach a lot of techniques as well as strategies and will also roll with you (at your own risk...)
Privates are $50,
Group classes are $10/class and $40 per seminar if you pay by the 10th of April, after that it is $15/class and $50/seminar.

I think the most disconcerting thing is when he's choking you out and having a conversation with someone else.
At least that's what happens to me.
The thing is you don't even feel the choke coming on, it's on! The big guy moves like a cat, you don't even feel his weight unless he wants you to, then it is agonizing!

Yes, Esfiha was asking for help. Unfortunatly for me it was because he had just choked me out and he was looking for someone who knew cpr.
either way, the key word here is "Esfiha was asking for help"...
He could find someone to do cpr but no one wanted to do mouth-to-mouth for some reason.
That's a lie! The girls from the peeler club half a block over said they would but I had no pockets in my gi to put a wallet in and they wanted bills. When they saw Esfiha they forgot about me anyway. Damn him and his Brazilian good looks!
