ESPN has posted an article on their frontpage about the UFC. PLEASE go to the site and click on the link to read the story.
Why does this matter? ESPN measures how many clicks, viewers, a unique story gets, if we can get a good amount of clicks on the story, then it will be easier for me to argue with Editorial that the sport is worth covering.

I agree, but it depends on the Media coverage that they are getting. This is an AP article that does a decent job with covering MMA and the more positive coverage MMA gets, the better it is for the sport.
Plus, it would be nice to get ESPN to open their eyes to the sport and potentially get it on their network.

colin cowherd said yesterday that over the week end, even during the world cup finals, that the UFC was the most searched topic on espn.com. thats incredible. cowherd was the one a couple of months ago who was talking shit about the ufc, now he is asking callers whether or not he should be talking about it on his show. he said that he realizes that it is very popular, he even stated that it has far surpassed boxing. his tone changed fast. which is good news for the sport.
