Glenn Robinson, Evans manager at Authentic Sports Management, confirmed with MMA Fighting on Wednesday that "Suga" is "not going to train at one specific place" for the Jones fight.

"(Evans) is going to do a private training camp headed by Coach (Mike) Van Arsdale," Robinson said.

Saw it last night.

You beat me to posting this by like 15 minutes.

And I don't think it's a good idea.

I'm surprised that he's not going to stop by AKA. If he's training in Montreal, does that mean he's training with GSP & Tristar?

No surprise he wants to be the center of attention for his next training camp given the situation he just came had with Jackson's. Phone Post

A wise move keeping his options open during this vulnerable and pivotal moment in his career. Phone Post

Why would this be a "Bad idea"?

Sounds great to me.

How many different places will he train during his quixotic quest to defeat his former "brother"? And how many people will Rashad no longer fight because he trains(ed) with them?

He's in good hands with Mike Van Arsdale.

Well on the plus side, he knows a lot of what Jones will be bringing. Hopefully Rashad will come in mentally strong and put on a great fight.
